11-Making Adequate Progress

Five people sitting down with their arms in the air and a laptop in the laps.

One of the benefits of online learning is that you have the flexibility to work at your own pace during the week.

You are expected to submit work each week. The "work" may occur at any time of the day or any day of the week - so that you are able to keep on pace to complete the course.

Students are expected to stay on pace with the weekly pacing in the course.

  • If students are not on pace at the end of the first week of summer school, students/parents will be contacted to determine if they want to stay in the course.
  • Students who want to stay in the course must meet the pacing requirement for the end of the second week of summer school.
  • Students who do not meet this requirement will be dropped. There will be an "NC" (No Credit) on the transcript.
How to Know if you are Making Adequate Progress:

Course Checklist
At the top of each course is a course checklist that will show the assignments you have completed AND a green progress bar that gives the Percentage of Assignments you have completed. (See example below)

Completion Tick Boxes
A tick (check mark) next to an activity name will be used to indicate when an activity is complete. If an empty box with a dotted border is shown, a tick will appear automatically when you have completed the activity according to the conditions set by the teacher.
